McFarlane Toys анонсировали выпуск 7-ми дюймовых подвижных фигурок по сериалу Stranger Things от Netflix.
(+ было заявлено получение лицензии на 10-ти дюймовый формат)

Последнее что я от них видел - фигурки по "Ходячим". И это просто ужасно.

Хотел сослаться к серии color tops (или как-то так), но оказалось, что ходячие тоже вышли в ней и большинство реально плохи((( А какие в ней отличные герои игр были! И 10' серия ходячих радовала. Была и еще какая-то серия, которую уже не припомню + статуи от них. В общем, я раскатал губу, что они снова стали делать как надо, пока ты не сказал об этих ходячих...(

Где же те славные времена, когда Макфы и Нэка делали классные статуэтки с минимумом артикуляции))) Половина коллекций этого форума начинались с таких. интересно, из какого такого жуткого дерьма надо лить, чтобы промо-фото так выглядели. Жаль, прошли те времена, хоть сам садись и делай 1/12)))

С другой стороны, перед тем как начать выпускать очешуительнейшие фигурки, являющиеся скорей мини-статуэтками, Макф несколько лет штамповал откровеннейшие игрушки, вроде mcfarlane's monsters playsets или total chaos.
И учитывая что он едва не обанкротился (http://toyster.ru/forum/showthread.php?t=2409&highlight=McFarlane+Toys), то для "нового старта" тоже нужно некоторое время.
Если он вообще будет.
И в плане содержимого, и в плане формы.
По первому - он выпускал много чересчур авторских продуктов.
"Искорёженное рождество" было и стильно, и раскупаемо, а вот "воинов зодиака" до сих пор можно выловить за копейки, и вторую планируемую серию, с уже готовыми артами, прикрыли. Да и Спаун будучи известным, не входит в "супергеройский олимп" (человек-паук, бэтмен, и пр), а макф по нему аж по 2 серии фигурок в год бывало "заряжал".
И в экономически нестабильном мире легче "кормиться" с регулярно доходной лицензии, вроде halo, чем настолько широко экспериментировать.
По второму, (форме), это перекликается с Некой.
Когда Макф был на пике, они старались не отставать (их первая "культовая классика" вышла после последних Тоддовских "киноманьяков"), конкуренция.
А когда Макфарлейн фактически ушёл с широкого рынка, вернувшись с шарнирными "ходячими" и "кредом ассасина", т.е. уже не как в свои лучшие времена,
то и некавцы расслабились и где-то после выхода фигурок по "Армии Двоих" и "Ада Данте" стали переходить на полноценные экшен-фигурки, без минимума артикуляции.
Сейчас - фигурки с "трусами", и шарнирами повсюду, что удобно для поз,
тоже хорошо продаются,
и вряд ли что Макфарлейн, что Нека,
a) вернутся к прежнему формату (целые серии менее функциональных "министатуй" в общем "бюджетном" семидюймовом сегменте более нишевы чем подвижные фигурки с вариативностью поз, да и последние сейчас вполне хорошо идут на рынке)
b) будут наркоманить наподобие макфовских "страны оз" и "сказок братьев грим" (может "не взлететь", а тот же макф уже наэкспериментировался)
