Полуоффтоп.
"Капитана АмерикИ" звучало бы более разговорно,
но это не имя, а титул.
Т.е. он не капитан этой самой Америки, а её воплощение,
сам Америка.
Ну как статус "мисс Алабама", а не "Алабамы"

p.s. если всё ж таки неверно, будет приятны правки.
